Allie Hock was born in Utah, where she spent her first 10 years before her family moved to Michigan. Her father is an engineer and her mother has worked various jobs and stayed home to raise four kids.
As the second child, Allie has an older brother, younger brother and younger sister. She spent her formative years rollerblading, running and making herself president of made-up neighborhood clubs.
She ran Track and Cross Country at Michigan State where she studied Media Arts & Technology. After graduating, Allie was convinced by a deep-voiced producer that she should move to LA, where she ended up working in documentary film. Listening to people’s hopes and dreams and petting mild mannered dogs are Allie’s favorite things.
